trying to find the shot I was looking for…

The Nidelva, or Nid river (translated to English), bisects the downtown waterfront area of Trondheim. (Warren Schultz)

I realized what was wrong. The field of view wasn’t wide enough, and there was too much noise in the shots. I set up the tripod and threw on a neutral density filter, and let the camera think hard for a bit.

Although I still can’t decide if I like the vibrancy of that shot, or the focus on shape that the b&w version gives.
